George Harrison, the lead guitarist of the Beatles, was considered the most talented musician in the band and compositor my favorite Beatles song: “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”.
What I find most intriguing about this song is how George can switch from a Minor A to a Major A key in the chorus with a perfect melody that drives us to different vibes in the same song, unlike most of the Beatles songs. My interpretation of this composition in the canvas is to use opposite colors to transpose the same feeling from the change of keys.
This song was included in the White Album, which was released on November 22, 1968, and it’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this week. Here is my tribute to this incredible artist and this beautiful song.
