Gilberto Gil is a singer, composer, instrumentalist, music producer and known for his contribution to Brazilian music and for being the winner of American Grammy Awards, Latin Grammy Awards and awarded by the French government with the National Order of Merit. In 1999, he was named “Artist for Peace”, by @unesco

Gil was also UN ambassador for agriculture and food and Brazil’s minister of culture (2003–2008). In more than fifty albums released, he incorporates the eclectic range of his influences, including rock, typically Brazilian genres, African music, funk, disco and reggae music.

Fabio Marinho is a Brazilian contemporary painter and a practitioner of the style spontaneous realism, created by the Austrian artist Voka, who was his main inspiration. Fabio lives in São Paulo, and he had exported his paintings to many countries around the world. Due to his virtuous skills as a musician, he realized patterns between music elements and visual arts, creating a process to visually reproduce in his paintings the same feeling caused by harmony, melody, and other sound elements. Marinho’s purpose is to really immerse in the state of mind of each artist that he paints to express that through visual elements.
