David Gilmour is one of the all-time guitar greats, with an instinctive and distinctive sound.

He is one of my favorites, mainly because he seems like choosing ways that are the most obvious to go, avoiding the comfort zone and exploring new possibilities on his instrument and his composition, just like art should be.

And that’s how I see myself painting this piece: Out of my comfort zone, playing with new tones and more granular touch.
